Low Residency Program Format - Computer Requirements

Hardware PC Mac
Processor Pentium class, 400MHz or higher G3, Mac OS X-compatible or faster
Memory 128 MB RAM (PC or Mac)
Hard Drive 254 MB of available space (115 MB of that on the drive where the operating system is installed)
Monitor 800 x 600 screen with 256 colors MINIMUM;
1024 x 768, millions of colors recommended
CD or DVD Drive at least 4 x speed (PC or Mac)
with read/write capabilities - for transferring files and storing valuable school work (a USB flash drive is also fine for this purpose)

 

Software PC Mac
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP, or later Mac OS X version 10.3 or later
Internet Browser

One of the following:

  • Microsoft IE 6.0 SP 1 or SP 2 (Windows XP SP 2)
  • Firefox 1.0 or 1.5
  • Mozilla 1.7
